Manager, Human Resources
Position Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of human resources operations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with applicable employment laws. This role oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, training, and policy development to support a productive, compliant, and high-performing workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
Partner with executive management to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.Talent Acquisition & Retention
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
Develop retention programs and improve employee engagement through effective communication and recognition initiatives.Employee Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution.
Investigate and resolve workplace issues in compliance with federal, state, and company policies.Compensation & Benefits
Oversee payroll coordination, benefits administration, and annual open enrollment.
Conduct market benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.Compliance & Policy Management
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.).
Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and employee handbook standards.Performance Management
Manage annual performance review cycles and coach managers on feedback best practices.
Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.HR Data & Reporting
Maintain accurate HR records and metrics.
Generate reports for management review on turnover, staffing, and compliance.Culture & Engagement
Promote diversity, inclusion, and a culture of accountability.
Support company-wide engagement and wellness initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of HR laws, practices, and systems (e.g., Paycom, ADP, Dynamics 365 HR, or similar).
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification preferred.
