About the role

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a strategic and people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations at our Coachella Valley facility. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving a strong culture of engagement, accountability, and excellence across the organization. As a trusted advisor to facility leadership, the HR Director will partner closely with operational leaders to align human capital strategies with business objectives. You will play a key role in shaping the employee experience—from talent acquisition and retention to employee relations, compliance, and organizational development—ensuring we continue to provide exceptional care through our most valuable asset: our people. Pay

$95,000 – 130,000

Purpose Statement

Responsible for all phases of human resources within a facility to include recruiting and selection, onboarding, new hire orientation and payroll processing. Responsible for compensation, employee relations and worker's compensation.

Essential Functions

  • Manage the day to day HR functions for the facility.
  • Interpret HR policies for staff and respond to staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Translate complex information and provide highly specialized advice in a specific Human Resources discipline.
  • Serve as known expert in subject matter with a broad knowledge and understanding of HR functional areas.
  • Manage and implement corporate and local Human Resources programs to fulfill state and federal policies and regulations.
  • Identify data needed for reports and ensure reports accurately capture and present information appropriate to the audience.
  • Communicate information to all levels of the facility, including leadership, staff and other community members.
  • Responsible for leading, motivating and assessing diverse teams, including experienced and junior professionals.
  • May lead projects that impact the facility at the request of leadership or corporate Human Resources.
  • Responsible for compensation, employee relations and worker's compensation.
  • Provide staff management to include hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or related field required.
  • One to three years' previous experience in a Human Resources leadership role with demonstrable knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation and human resources information systems required.
  • Professional certification in Human Resources preferred.
