Manager, HR Systems & Operations
About the role
The Manager, HR Systems & Operations serves as a strategic and hands-on partner for the HR team and reports to the Director, HR Systems & Operations. This role combines the strengths of an HRIS Analyst, Benefits Analyst, and Payroll Analyst. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical rigor, deep Workday knowledge, and a collaborative mindset to support data integrity, reporting, auditing, and continuous improvement across HR systems.
Responsibilities
- Partner with functional leads and IT Workday team on Workday configurations, enhancements, testing, and deployments.
- Manage ticketing process, including request, requirements, and testing protocols.
- Support key HR processes, such as open enrollment and performance management, by managing and tracking configuration changes, developing test plans, and coordinating user acceptance testing.
- Identify opportunities to optimize Workday processes, reporting, and user experience through system best practices.
- Complete regular and ad hoc payroll and benefits audits, including benefits billing reconciliation.
- Manage and audit leave pay in coordination with 3rd party administrator and benefits and payroll functional leads.
- Complete regular and ad hoc reporting, providing key analysis to HR teams.
- Research and address data integrity issues and errors. Ensure a high level of data integrity is maintained and transactions are accurate. Establish audit processes as needed.
- Track Workday integrations with vendors and research fail reports in partnership with IT.
- Provide back-up to payroll, completing biweekly payroll as needed.
- Provide back-up to Comp, Payroll, and Benefits admin in Workday.
- Support projects to streamline HR processes, eliminate non-value-added activities that improve efficiency.
- Support employee pay and benefits questions.
Requirements
- 5+ years as Benefits, Payroll and/or HRIS Analyst.
- 2+ years of Workday experience, certification preferred.
- Experience running payroll and completing pay/benefits audits.
- Expert in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, etc.).

Pay
$115,000 - $135,000
