Manager, HR Business Partner

As a Manager, People & Culture Business Partner, you will be instrumental in creating an engaging work environment that ignites leadership success, inspires transformative change, and drives business results. This role serves as a strategic and tactical partner to leaders and team members, helping drive people strategies that support business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of the business and provide comprehensive, consultative support across core People & Culture disciplines.
- Build credibility and trust as a thought partner through integrity, authenticity, and self-awareness.
- Partner with labor relations, employee relations, leaders, and employees to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and address union-related matters effectively.
- Anticipate business needs and execute workforce strategies using strong planning and prioritization to ensure talent continuity and support organizational goals.
- Leverage business insights to deliver proactive solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Coach and develop leaders to strengthen leadership capability, enhance team performance, and drive meaningful results.
- Partner with leaders to navigate change, adapt to shifting priorities, and optimize team performance.
- Foster collaboration and innovation while creating a high-performing team environment.
- Lead with confidence in uncertainty and drive initiatives forward while resolving conflicts effectively.
- Guide and inspire workforce initiatives by bringing forward new ideas and partnering closely with key partners, including leading ad hoc projects as needed.
- Embrace technology and continuous learning to improve processes and outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
- Experience in developing and driving talent management and full employee lifecycle HR activities within Organizational Development, Talent & Growth, Talent Connection, Opportunity & Inclusion, Employee Relations, and Labor Relations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working with unionized employees, particularly in the entertainment industry, with a strong understanding of union contracts and collective bargaining agreements.
- Ability to analyze, synthesize, and effectively present complex data to develop innovative solutions.
- Possess consultancy, influencing, and problem-solving skills while collaborating effectively with senior executives.
- Excellent computer skills including experience with Windows, Co-Pilot, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Pay
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $139,200.00 to $170,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
