About the role

As a Manager, HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in creating a magical workplace where every employee is valued. The role supports the Disney Advertising Sales client group, collaborating with leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional teams to execute HR strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a consultant to business leaders on talent matters, including organizational effectiveness, leader effectiveness, organizational design, learning needs, and conflict resolution.
  • Lead transformative and agile workforce initiatives aligned with long-term organizational goals, adapting to evolving priorities.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and clients at all levels to enable strategy creation and implementation in line with business priorities.
  • Foster leadership success as a proactive thought partner, leveraging business data, metrics, and external market insights to inform decisions.
  • Implement employee engagement strategies to cultivate an environment based on respect and shared values.
  • Develop and execute a lifecycle approach to talent management by assessing organizational performance, identifying talent gaps, and proposing solutions.
  • Coach and consult on organizational design and management issues, influencing decision-making processes.
  • Lead large-scale change management efforts around culture and process evolution.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion in talent attraction, development, and retention through thoughtful, integrated approaches.
  • Facilitate the consistent application, implementation, and improvement of Human Resources programs.
  • Manage day-to-day employee relations issues, escalating to Employee Relations partners as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
  • Strong consultative and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and navigate complex matrix environments.
  • Proven track record as a credible, proactive, and trusted thought partner who delivers results.
  • Ability to thrive within ambiguity and drive complex projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in creatively solving complex business problems using data to craft compelling narratives and implement innovative solutions.
  • Ability to assess organizational design needs, provide recommendations, and implement solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Pay

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $145,800.00 to $178,000.00 per year. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
