Role: Healthcare Information Services Manager responsible for leading the Health Information Management (HIM) team across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily HIM operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.Develop and implement standards for data content, mapping, and documentation to support quality data and accurate coding for billing.Lead the abstraction and retrieval of medical data for evaluation, planning, or research purposes.Monitor key HIM metrics, conduct quality assurance audits, and provide coaching and performance reviews.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve electronic health records (EHR) systems and workflows.Identify and resolve data variability issues, ensuring departmental goals are met.Promote a respectful, diverse work environment, delegate tasks effectively, and support team development.Manage department budgets and support HR initiatives, including talent acquisition and training. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.Minimum five years of healthcare operations experience, including Cerner system familiarity.One year of leadership experience preferred.Current U.S. work authorization required.Preferred certifications: Registered Health Information Technician or Administrator.
