Responsibilities
As the Food Service Manager plans, you are responsible for assisting the Director with managing all aspects of the operational needs of the Food & Nutrition Department. You will coordinate the tasks with the Director and Supervisor. You will ensure the overall efficiency of food and nutrition services. Assumes authority and responsibilities during Food Service Director absence.
- Oversee the scheduling, training, hiring, coaching, and development of all team members
- Ensure that food is properly portioned, plates are attractively presented, and service meets established standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, infection control practices, and facility policies
- Ensure that the team complies with safety regulations and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the Registered Clinical Dietitian.
- Performs all other related duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum three years’ supervisory experience in hospital food and nutrition required.
- Influenza vaccinations is a requirement for employment at Hudson Regional Health. If you are not currently vaccinated, you will be required to receive the vaccination annually and prior to hire date if you are offered employment unless you request and receive an approved medical exemption from Hudson Regional Health.
