Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Essential duties

• Captures and supports business and financial planning, including short and long term financial forecasting.
• Serves as a liaison between the business and the finance departments, supporting the annual budget process.
• Facilitates the issuance of the Daily Operating Report.
• Supports the Capital Expenditure process.
• Affirms financial and operational metrics for use by management in decision making.
• Provides support for centralized functions such as accounting, treasury, financial planning, and tax.
• Performs the aforementioned services for Seminole Gaming as per the Support Services Agreement.

Experience Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Accounting/Economics/Finance/Data Analysis), with an advanced Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong communication skills, including being a good listener and articulating complex issues in a clear, compelling, and insightful manner.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Proven work experience in a quantitatively-heavy role.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and capable of working independently.
• Excellent analytical competency, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions, PowerPivot, Power Query, macros, pivot tables, lookup functions, protecting workbooks, etc.
• Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning for budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting.

Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, talking or hearing.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
