About the role
Zipline is the world’s largest and most experienced drone delivery service. We design, build, and operate the world’s largest autonomous logistics system, delivering critical supplies quickly and reliably. We are seeking a Manager, Field Logistics to lead our logistics operations outside of the factory, including depot logistics, inventory deployment, field replenishment, third-party logistics providers, and regional logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead Zipline's field logistics organization across domestic markets.
- Own logistics operations and strategy supporting maintenance depots, distribution points, and field inventory locations.
- Develop scalable operating models for inventory deployment, replenishment, and asset positioning.
- Establish and manage strategic relationships with 3PLs, warehouse providers, and logistics service partners.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on service, cost, inventory availability, and operational efficiency.
- Partner closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, and Customer teams.
- Create the long-term organizational strategy for supporting Zipline's growing global logistics footprint.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in logistics, operations, supply chain, or distribution leadership roles.
- Experience leading multi-site logistics or field operations organizations.
- Proven ability to build teams and operating systems in high-growth environments.
- Strong analytical and operational problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience managing third-party logistics providers and external partners.
- Demonstrated success driving cost, service, and operational performance improvements.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Passion for building systems that scale globally.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in managing complex logistics networks.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and trends.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Pay
- $120,000 - $150,000 annually.
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday.
