About the role

Walmart is recruiting a Manager for Operations Improvement to oversee multiple projects, lead teams, and manage operations across many stores. The role involves defining project scope and objectives, assembling management plans, tracking changes, resolving critical issues, managing project governance, monitoring budgets and costs, and delivering presentations and status reports to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define the scope of work and project objectives for multiple initiatives.
• Lead and manage a team overseeing operations across multiple stores.
• Assemble and track management plans, ensuring resolution of critical issues.
• Manage the governance of project plans and monitor budgets and costs.
• Deliver presentations, status reports, and project documentation to stakeholders at regular intervals.
• Leverage Microsoft Office Suite proficiency to support project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field and 3 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or a related area.
• OR 5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or a related area.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance.
• Experience supervising associates.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams or projects.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 – $180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may include stock.
