Position Summary
What you'll do...
Must Maintain
- Maintain Mechanical Contractor License in state of employment.
- Evaluate current and future projects.
- Analyze facility needs and equipment needs.
- Develop standard operating procedures.
- Create facility maintenance inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
- Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects.
- Oversee sustainability initiatives to meet Environmental Protection Agency compliance programs.
- Manage complex projects.
- Ensure business needs are being met.
- Ensure financial sustainability.
- Review budget plan.
- Maintain project oversight.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Directs
- Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and critical power maintenance and service operations.
- Temperature adjustment.
- Air flow and humidity needs.
- Facility systems.
- Facility maintenance inspections and preventive maintenance programs.

Manages

Promotes and Supports

Ensures Compliance
- Reviewing new and existing laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Conducting inspections.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
- 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
- EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
- Mechanical Contractor License or equivalent in the state you will be working.
Preferred Qualifications
- Building controls or related area.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- External work experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in an optical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment.
- Must hold state and jurisdiction required certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work.
