Manager, Environmental Services

Responsibilities

• Inspects assigned areas for compliance with established cleaning standards.
• Determines cleaning effectiveness through staff assessments and identifies special cleaning needs.
• Reports items needing repair or in unsatisfactory condition.
• Demonstrates ability to interview, hire, schedule, assign work to, and evaluate the performance of employees supervised.
• Prepares productivity reports, monitors work scheduling of Environmental Service Technicians and Supervisors, and completes quality control inspections and audits.
• Completes employee performance evaluations in a timely manner.
• Manages linen processes, including collection and interaction with linen.
• Flexibly adjusts work schedules as needed to meet departmental requirements.
• Serves as Manager on Call for weekends once every 6 weeks.
• Performs job duties in alignment with Tampa General Hospital's mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• Three (3) - five (5) years of experience in hospital and/or hospitality settings.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Associated degree in Business Administration or related field.
• CHESP (Certified Healthcare Environmental Service Professional).
