This job is located in the Manager, Environmental Monitoring Department: Quality Control Lab. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:15AM – 5:00PM. The clinical status is Clinical.

People Management & Talent Development

  • Supervise, guide, and direct employees to be effective team members.
  • Equip team members with the right skills, tools, and talents.
  • Environmental Monitoring Program Management

    • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive environmental monitoring program across multiple controlled processing facilities, including water, surface, personnel, and viable and non-viable particulate monitoring.
    • Ensure program effectiveness, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards.

    Testing & Compliance

    • Oversee receipt of samples, testing, and records associated with Environmental Monitoring requirements.
    • Perform trend analysis and reporting of Environmental Monitoring data.
    • Data Analysis & Improvement

      • Analyze environmental monitoring data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
      • Process & Technician Oversight

        • Develop and maintain procedures, SOPs, and technical documentation.
        • What You’ll Bring

          • Bachelor’s degree
          • Three (3) years of experience in a leadership role managing direct reports
          • Minimum Requirements

            • Bachelor’s degree
            • Experience in Cleanroom Environmental Monitoring

            Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications

            • Bachelor’s degree – Microbiology, Chemistry, Physical or Biological Science
            • CTBS Certification
            • Knowledge of Environmental Monitoring Regulations (US and EU)

            Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

            • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulation, accreditation policies governing tissues and medical devices (FDA, AATB, ISO)
            • Validation: Cleaning, Recovery Efficiency, Neutralization
            • Laboratory Information Systems: Knowledge of LIS database design, configuration, validation

            Compensation

            The salary range for this position is $87,226 - $116,301 annually. Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience.
