The Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) team integrates, verifies, and validates our products, ensuring they work the first time and every time. We develop plans, debug systems, and work closely with customers to achieve mission success.

The Effectors Center in the Systems Integration and Test Directorate is seeking hands-on Engineering Services professionals focused on Lab Integration, Platform Integration, and/or Flight Test. In this role, you will support test events and analyze test data to ensure system performance meets specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure systems meet specifications and requirements.
  • Conduct data collection activities, including review and analysis of data elements, and provide detailed reports of results.
  • Trace and correct faults in mechanical or electronic systems, with familiarity in failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action.
  • Support field testing, including occasional travel for durations typically lasting one or two weeks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) with a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (Secret) required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued security clearance prior to start date.
  • Hardware Systems Integration experience, with preference for integration on military platforms.
  • Experience in Platform Integration, Verification and Validation, and/or Flight Test.
  • Experience supporting field tests or systems deployed in the field.
  • Experience with lab/field test equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience collecting and evaluating data to diagnose and solve technical issues.
  • Experience creating integration and verification strategies.
  • Technician experience on military platforms (Fixed Wing, Rotary Wing, Ground-Based, or ship-based).
  • Integration experience with test equipment, telemetry data analysis tools, and missile systems host platforms.
  • Experience integrating RF/EO sensor output, including modulated waveforms or digital sample streams for real-time data representation.
  • Experience in data collection/analysis (including Telemetry) in a test environment, with emphasis on test execution and planning.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD. The range reflects all experience levels, and RTX considers factors such as role, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills when extending an offer.
