General Purpose
Accountable for all phases of district operations. Manages and controls the operation of an assigned district to ensure consistency with company standards and expectations. Conducts store visits focused on people, customer service, store contribution, and shrink‑reduction initiatives, including administration, tracking, and follow‑up. Leverages data to understand, problem‑solve, and proactively support business trends, providing leadership to achieve district sales, profit, and customer‑service goals while recruiting, training, and developing store management teams.
Essential Functions
- Great/Exceptional People: Recruit and select highly talented individuals, build succession plans, collaborate on a company‑wide talent pipeline, apply performance‑management practices, ensure compliance with HR policies, handle employee‑relations issues, and maintain safety for associates and customers.
- True Customer Service: Serve as the point of contact for district‑level customer service issues, respond quickly to inquiries, and ensure excellent service in all assigned locations.
- Drive Contribution: Manage and monitor actual expenditures to stay within budget, control payroll hours as the primary controllable expense, adjust to business trends, and maintain a safe, accident‑free environment while complying with all regulations.
- Reduce Shrink: Demonstrate and drive loss‑prevention initiatives and awareness programs, meeting company shrink goals.
- Deliver the Treasure/Dealz: Ensure proper merchandising presentation and organization according to the company’s philosophy, assess and escalate inventory discrepancies.

Qualifications & Special Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to ambiguity and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- 5 + years of retail management or operations experience
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Travel required
Education / Certifications
High school degree or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer. Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in‑person meetings, typing, and handling paper/files. Consistent timeliness and regular attendance are essential. Vision requirements: ability to see information in print and/or electronically. This role requires regular in‑office presence for team interaction, meetings, collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and feedback, though duties can be performed using a hybrid of in‑office and remote work.
