Responsibilities

Accountable for all phases of district operations, ensuring consistency with company standards and expectations. Conduct store visits focused on people, customer service, store contribution, and shrink reduction initiatives, and manage the administration, tracking, and follow‑up for all visits.

  • Great/Exceptional People: Recruit and select highly talented individuals, build succession plans, collaborate on a company‑wide talent pipeline, apply performance management practices, ensure compliance with HR policies, handle employee‑relations issues, and maintain safety for associates and customers.
  • True Customer Service: Serve as the point of contact for district‑level customer service issues, respond quickly to inquiries, and ensure excellent service in all assigned locations.
  • Drive Contribution: Manage and monitor expenditures to stay within budget, control payroll hours as the primary controllable expense, and ensure a safe, accident‑free environment while complying with all regulations.
  • Reduce Shrink: Demonstrate and drive loss‑prevention initiatives, meet company shrink goals, and promote awareness programs.
  • Deliver the Treasure/Dealz: Ensure proper merchandising presentation and organization, adhere to the company’s merchandising philosophy, and assess/escalate inventory discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to ambiguity and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • 5 or more years of retail management or operations experience
  • Valid driver’s license (required)
  • Travel required

Education / Certifications

  • High school degree or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work primarily in an office environment on a computer
  • Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in‑person meetings, typing, and handling paper/files
  • Consistent timeliness and regular attendance
  • Vision: ability to see information in print and/or electronically
  • Hybrid role: regular in‑office presence for team interaction, meetings, collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and feedback; can also be performed using a combination of in‑office and remote work

Supervisory Responsibilities

Direct oversight of Store Managers.
