About the Role

Jobs in this job family are responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures to support patient care, clinical research, and medical education. These roles utilize advanced imaging technologies—such as X-rays, MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology—to produce high-quality images that aid in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of medical conditions.

This position represents a people leader with hire/fire authority, primarily overseeing their area of responsibility. The role focuses on tactical and operational plans with a short to mid-term focus, developing solutions to moderately complex problems, and escalating more complex issues to higher-level management. Responsibilities include ensuring staff is utilized efficiently and daily work projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Operate imaging equipment such as X-rays and MRIs to capture accurate diagnostic images.
  • Oversee professional-level employees within the assigned job area.
  • Manage tactical and operational plans to achieve departmental goals.
  • Develop solutions for moderately complex problems; escalate more complex issues as needed.
  • Ensure efficient staff utilization and timely completion of daily work projects within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 3 years of progressively more responsible experience.
  • Licensure or certification in at least one clinical modality (e.g., X-ray, Sonography, MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine).

Physical Demands

This is primarily a sedentary role involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job occasionally requires traveling to attend meetings and programs.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $106,974.40 - $171,163.20 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and education.
