AWS Developer Experience is seeking a Manager to lead a team of developer advocates. The team focuses on how millions of developers interact with AWS, through content, events, and engagement.
Key job responsibilities
- Engage with developers to understand their needs and bring insights to service teams
- Collaborate with service teams, marketing, and solutions architects to shape the developer relations strategy
- Define strategy to ensure the developer voice shapes AWS's roadmap and product launches
- Build strong relationships with service teams to facilitate product feedback and insights
- Communicate the developer perspective to drive continuous improvement and exceptional developer experiences

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of team leadership experience
- Experience building developer-facing content or programs
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of team leadership and development experience
- Experience managing a team of individual contributors
- Track record of building and scaling developer community programs
- Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to influence roadmaps based on developer feedback
