Manager, Demand Generation

RTA: The Fleet Success Company · Glendale, AZ · 2 wk ago
Hybrid$140k–$150k/yrFull-time

About the role

We’re looking for a Demand Generation Manager who thrives on the moment marketing campaigns start producing traceable results. This is a content orchestration and distribution role with a clear mission: elevate the RTA Fleet brand and convert that awareness and trust into inbound pipeline. You’ll own the engine that takes our best content—from the Fleet Success Show podcast to webinars, campaigns, and thought leadership—and moves it across every channel to reach fleet buyers, leveraging AI to amplify output.

As a player-coach, you’ll own the inbound pipeline number, lead a small creative pod, and hand qualified leads to the SDR team. You’ll directly manage two people: the AV Specialist (podcast, video production, AV for staff meetings and the RTA Connect Conference) and the Creative Services Manager (design and creative assets, website admin), setting the quality bar while working alongside them.

What we're looking for

  • Sharp, organized, and able to hold the full picture across many campaigns without dropping detail.
  • Relentless clarity of priorities—discerning what elevates the brand and drives pipeline from endless possibilities.
  • Operator mindset: separates signal from noise and knows the difference between activity and outcome.
  • Embraces team health and principles from The Five Dysfunctions of a Team and The Ideal Team Player (Patrick Lencioni).
  • AI-fluent and genuinely curious about how agents, prompts, and automated workflows can compound team output.
  • Lifelong learner—active on LinkedIn, listens to marketing podcasts, and reads avidly. Bonus points for familiarity with Extreme Ownership, Building a StoryBrand, Create Once, Distribute Forever, Contagious, or works by Robert Cialdini.
  • High standards for quality while shipping on time—knows when to polish and when to launch.
  • Pivots quickly, stays positive under pressure, and is willing to roll up sleeves when needed.

Specifically for this role:

  • Owns an inbound pipeline number and traces marketing effort to sourced revenue.
  • Runs the content engine as an orchestrator, turning podcasts, webinars, and campaigns into a steady flow of multi-format content distributed across all audience channels.
  • Writes well and fast across formats using AI—landing pages, campaign copy, email sequences, and companion articles.
  • Leads a small creative team as a player-coach, directing the AV Specialist and Creative Services Manager while setting the quality bar.

Responsibilities

Content orchestration and distribution

  • Runs the weekly RTA Content Flywheel, converting podcast episodes and webinars into multi-format content (hot-take videos, articles, comics, ads) distributed across channels.
  • Publishes podcast episodes and Hot Takes clips to YouTube, Simplecast, Spotify, and the RTA website; writes and posts AEO-optimized companion articles.
  • Writes campaign content across formats: social posts, video scripts, landing and registration pages, direct mail copy, and session titles/abstracts.
  • Owns email execution: full webinar promotional sequences, pre- and post-event emails, monthly newsletter, and send execution for product releases and press announcements in HubSpot.
  • Owns SEO and AEO across YouTube and the website, plus post-launch optimization sprints on thumbnails, CTAs, and copy based on performance.
  • Coordinates PR execution: edits press-release drafts, Business Wire uploads, internal distribution, and SME spotlight posts (media relationships shared with CMO).

Pipeline and team

  • Owns the inbound pipeline number: booked meetings and pipeline dollars, with clean handoffs to the SDR team.
  • Manages the AV Specialist and Creative Services Manager as a player-coach.
  • Supports RTA Connect (typically April–October) with event content, registration-driving comms, and LinkedIn activation.

Key outcomes

  • Inbound pipeline grows every trimester, measured by booked meetings and pipeline dollars.
  • Paid media results, funnel conversion rates, and brand awareness trend up month over month.
  • The content engine runs on time and on brand, compounding into inbound demand, with the creative pod shipping consistently and clean handoffs to the SDR team.

Pay

Total compensation for the role is between $140,000 and $150,000, depending on experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time, exempt role with hybrid flexibility for candidates in the greater Phoenix metro area. Employees are expected to work in-office three days per week after onboarding. The role includes approximately 5–10% travel based on business needs.

Benefits

  • 401(k) with 6% Safe Harbor match (100% vested day one).
  • Flexible PTO model built on trust and manager-approved time off.
  • Cigna Dental, Vision, and Medical (PPO and HSA medical plan options with company HSA contributions: $780–$1,950 annually).
  • Garner Health HRA program: up to $1,000 individual / $2,000 family reimbursement opportunity.
