Manager Data Governance

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the enterprise data governance program including developing policies and KPIs
• Oversee the federated stewardship network, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain the enterprise data classification standard and PHI inventory
• Cook with technology teams to embed governance in data pipelines and technology platforms
• Lead change management and training efforts for data governance
• Hire and manage team members to meet governance objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 7 years of experience in data governance, data management, information security, or related field
• 5 years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry
• Proficiency in data classification frameworks and data cataloging tools like Alation and Microsoft Purview
• Experience in leading data governance programs and managing professional staff

Pay

$100,000 – $130,000 annually
