Manager, Cybersecurity, Privileged Access Management - Remote

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Cybersecurity, Privileged Access Management - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead the enterprise privileged access management program, shaping the strategy and operating model to align with Zero Trust principles. The manager will partner closely with technical teams, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen access controls across cloud and on-premises environments. This position is focused on reducing security risk, improving governance, and ensuring disciplined management of high-risk administrative access.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation

Compensation: $135,600 – $225,900 annually

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise privileged access management strategy and operating model aligned with Zero Trust principles
• Lead deployment and operation of privileged access management solutions
• Manage privileged account lifecycle processes, including provisioning and rotation
• Implement monitoring and recording for high-risk administrative access
• Design break-glass access procedures with oversight controls
• Collaborate with technical teams to onboard accounts and integrate privileged access management solutions
• Support audit requirements for privileged access controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration
• Minimum 8 years of experience in identity or cybersecurity, including at least 4 years in privileged access management
• Hands-on experience with CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Delinea deployment
• Knowledge of credential vaulting, privileged session management, and secrets management
• Experience securing privileged access in multi-cloud and on-premises environments
• Demonstrated people leadership or team-lead experience
