Manager, Customer Relations and Guest Services

About the role

The Manager of Patient Care Services at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital supervises models and leads professional practices consistent with organizational goals of safety, customer satisfaction and quality for the area of expertise. This position also provides clinical/technical expertise and engages in process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff, providing clinical/technical expertise and engaging in process improvements.
• Aids in the fiscal budgeting and management process for the department, including billing/revenue management, payroll, purchasing and supply cost management.
• Performs work assignments as needed to provide coverage and to mentor or assist staff.
• Interviews, hires, and develops team members with the goal of developing a highly effective work team.
• Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.

Requirements

• Licensed professionals must keep their license or certifications current in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's Level Degree Required.
• 3 years Management Experience Required.
• Microsoft Office Experience Required.
