About The Role & Team
The Corporate Development group at The Walt Disney Company is a team of approximately ten professionals with backgrounds in media & technology, investment banking, private equity, and consulting. They serve as in-house advisors to the company’s executive leadership on key inorganic growth opportunities globally and negotiate and execute M&A transactions.
Examples Of Work Completed Include:
- Acquisitions: NFL Network, 21st Century Fox, Hulu, BAMTech, Lucasfilm, Marvel, Pixar
- Joint Ventures: Merger of Star India with Viacom18, combination of Hulu + Live TV and Fubo
- Divestitures: Fox’s 22 Regional Sports Networks, Endemol Shine, FoxNext Games
- Investments: Minority stakes in, Epic Games, Professional Lacrosse League, WEBTOON
What You Will Do
As the manager, you will play a key role in evaluating and executing acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, and developing new business opportunities. The position entails extensive interaction with business unit and corporate senior management and provides early project leadership responsibility.

Required Education
MBA
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of experience at a top tier investment bank, private equity, or comparable corporate development group within a major media and entertainment company
Hiring Range
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $139,200.00 to $186,600.00 per year.
