Responsibilities

  • Oversee NCCI's corporate accounting operations
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information provided to executive leadership, the Board of Directors, auditors, and other stakeholders
  • Manage and direct assigned staff
  • Develop and maintain corporate accounting policies, practices, and procedures
  • Coordinate and prepare audited annual reports and quarterly unaudited financial statement packages
  • Research and implement accounting standards
  • Manage fixed assets accounting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Five (5) years of corporate accounting experience or three years of audit experience with a Big Four or large public accounting firm
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP requirements
  • Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and disclosures requirements
  • Knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use independent judgment and sound decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and deadlines

Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of people management experience or as a senior/lead providing feedback to others
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Experience coordinating external audits
  • Technical accounting research experience
