Manager, Consumer Ventures & Strategy

About the role

As the Manager, Consumer Ventures & Strategy, you will support strategy and launch workstreams inside Dow Jones's biggest new consumer bets. You will help take a workstream from thesis to live product: build the case, build the model, shape the go‑to‑market strategy, line up partnerships, and design the organization. You will work on‑site in our Midtown Manhattan office three days each week and report to the VP, Consumer Ventures & Strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop business cases, financial models, and launch plans for new ventures.
• Support commercial, partnership, and organization‑design decisions for new ventures.
• Help shape the broader Dow Jones consumer strategy and operating model.
• Execute on strategic initiatives.
• Build the case, model, GTM strategy, partnership pipeline, and organizational design for each workstream.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience combining top‑tier consulting or corporate strategy with at least one operating role.
• Fluency with AI and ideas about how to use it to achieve business goals; experience using AI to build new products or improve workflows is a plus.
• Willingness to work in the Midtown Manhattan office at least three days per week.
• Media, content, and/or subscription experience (preferred).
• Experience building and launching new products or ventures (preferred).

Pay

Base Pay Range: $125,000 – $155,000. Compensation is competitive and flexible, varying based on experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
