Core Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and governance across Energy Operations.
- Oversee a portfolio of construction and capital projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Lead and manage project management staff, including assigning work, balancing capacity, and setting clear performance expectations.
- Establish and lead project teams; ensure appropriate resourcing and coordination across internal and external partners.
- Serve as a primary liaison between project teams, operational leaders, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Set, communicate, and manage project expectations; ensure transparency through regular status reporting.
- Monitor project performance, risks, and issues; implement corrective actions to maintain scope, schedule, and budget control.
- Develop and maintain portfolio-level reporting and dashboards for project sponsors and senior leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field required.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management, construction management, or related disciplines.
- Prior people leadership experience, including direct management of employees and/or subordinate leaders.
- Experience overseeing complex project portfolios and leading large-scale operational initiatives.
Work Location:
This hybrid role is based at our Madison, WI headquarters. While three days onsite is the minimum, team collaboration and business needs may require additional in-office presence.
