The Configuration Management and Data Management (CMDM) organization ensures products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The Effectors Configuration Management department seeks a Manager Configuration Analyst to lead strategic CM initiatives in Tucson, Arizona.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic configuration management (CM) initiatives, including identification, control, verification, and status accounting, aligning with organizational goals and contractual requirements.
  • Develop and implement enterprise-level CM strategies, frameworks, and best practices across programs and business units.
  • Oversee engineering document and process changes, ensuring alignment with program objectives and enterprise initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between engineering, quality, manufacturing, and data control teams to coordinate engineering changes.
  • Conduct configuration audits, resolve high-priority data discrepancies, and ensure compliance with CM plans and contractual obligations.
  • Establish, maintain, and monitor product baselines, ensuring data integrity across enterprise systems and tools.
  • Assess and mitigate CM-related risks, providing expert guidance to leadership on program readiness and compliance.
  • Mentor CM professionals at all levels, fostering a culture of excellence through knowledge-sharing and skill development.
  • Support enterprise-level CM initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership, engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of professional experience (Configuration Management experience preferred).
  • 12+ years of professional experience (with Configuration Management experience preferred) in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with databases (SAP, ERP, PDM, CABS, PRISM, or related systems).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Active and existing DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications

  • General knowledge of configuration management principles, policies, and tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with engineering disciplines and ensure data integrity.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex technical engineering data issues related to configuration management.
  • Experience reviewing data, documentation, or records for compliance.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD, dependent on experience, location, and other factors.
