Manager Community Nursing

About the role

Responsible for management of the Community Outreach Nursing Programs. Responsible for growth and development of the Community Outreach nursing initiative. Leads efforts to build relationships and partnerships with community not-for-profits to improve the health and inspire well-being in the communities Parkview Health serves.

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA).
• Evidence of progressive and continuous educational experiences. MS or active pursuit thereof encouraged.

Experience

• Five years progressive clinical or supervisory experience in health care field, preferably two to three years in a management position.
• Knowledge of and experience in community nursing outside the hospital setting required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate community involvement and program development experience.
