Manager, Communications, Technology
Job Description
The Manager serves as a program and project-level day-to-day lead on up to four accounts.
- Works with client and team to consistently implement communications strategies and integrated campaigns that drive results.
- Maintains excellent media relationships and develops and pitches compelling story angles.
- Hones their client service skills and planning expertise, working closely with strategic account leads.
- Produces client-ready materials, thoughtful analysis, and data-driven measurement reports.
- P practices INK’s motto of “be there before,” staying ahead of industry and media trends, anticipating client needs and opportunities, and sharing their insights generously with their teams and clients.
- Embraces INK values and culture.
- Commits to employee development, mentoring associate-level INKers through day-to-day coaching and regular check-ins.
- May support the client services (CS) and media relations teams and reports to, advises, and is coached by INK’s Director and/or VP level executives.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-time communications experience, agency setting preferred
- Experience in B2B, tech, and/or renewable energy, preferred
- Experience with client relations
- Excellent writing skills, clear communicator
- Strong pitching skills and media relationships
- Ability to organize and manage multiple client responsibilities
- Ability to learn and understand client industries and complex, technical topics
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting
Starting Salary Range
$80,000+, commensurate with experience
