About the role

This position plays a crucial role in the hospital’s pediatric oncology department, supporting the clinical team in providing comprehensive care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging times.
  • Assist in coordinating referrals to other healthcare specialists as needed.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment options.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (nursing, social work, etc.)
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
  • Current California nursing license or equivalent certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills
