Manager, Claims Litigation Management - Morristown, NJ or Remote
About the role
This position is in the Claims Litigation Management Team within Corp Enterprise Risk Mgmt. Interacting with all C&F companies, law firms and claims vendors; this individual will understand and convey the company’s objectives within litigation guidelines, policies, procedures and billing practices. Will manage and coordinate requests, reviews and projects pertaining to the Law firms, the Legal bill review platforms, and other litigation and vendor management needs as directed by the Vice President of Claims Litigation Management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the management of the day-to-day operations of Legal Management services.
- Manage the litigation professional staff to ensure law firm and vendor adherence to litigation management and billing guidelines and panel protocols.
- Manage processes involving law firms, E-Billing vendor and claims staff.
- Delegate, coordinate and resolve questions related to law firm and E-Billing vendor functions.
- Communicate and flow information to regional and department managers concerning E-Billing vendor and management of their appropriate billing platforms.
- Aid or delegate to staff colleagues and claims staff questions pertaining to adherence to litigation management and billing guidelines.
- Aid Vice President of Claims Litigation Management with projects related to panel vetting, approval and review.
- Act as mentor to the Legal Services Group.
Qualifications
- Education/Experience: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, 8+ years of related experience required, experience working within legal bill review systems required.
- Skills: Strong organizational, management and project management skills preferred, experience with claims litigation management of law firms and/or vendors preferred.
- Communication: Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external vendors across all levels.

Pay
The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $74,900.00 to a maximum of $140,700.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
