Manager, Change and Configuration Management

AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. We are seeking a Manager, Change and Configuration Management to govern, coordinate, and continuously improve the enterprise Change Management program across the organization's Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) infrastructure and services. This role ensures that all network, platform, software, cloud, satellite, ground station, and operational changes are planned, assessed, approved, implemented, and reviewed in a manner that minimizes customer impact and operational risk. This person serves as a key liaison between Engineering, Network Operations, Service Assurance, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Product Management, and Customer Operations teams to maintain the stability, availability, serity, and performance of critical NTN services.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise Change Management policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
• Lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency Change Advisory Board (ECAB) processes.
• Ensure all changes are properly documented, reviewed, approved, communicated, and executed.
• Establish governance frameworks for planned, emergency, standard, and high-risk changes.
