Brief Description
Under the general direction of the Director - Grants Management, the Manager - Capital Programming & Grants will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing capital programming and grant processes. The incumbent will ensure the effective management, administration, and compliance of various grant programs and capital projects that support the strategic objectives of the JTA. This position involves working closely with internal departments, government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely and efficient completion of capital and grant-funded projects.
Essential Function(s)
- Assist in the management and coordination of JTA’s capital programming and grant processes
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding grant applications, reporting, and administration
- Coordinate the preparation, submission, and administration of grant applications to ensure timely and accurate compliance with all grant requirements
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to develop, implement, and monitor capital projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Assist in the development and management of capital and grant program budgets, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of funds
- Accurately and timely report on the status, budget, and outcomes of capital and grant-funded projects
- Facilitate communication and coordination with external agencies, organizations, and stakeholders regarding capital and grant projects
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of capital programming and grant management processes and procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years progressively responsible and relevant grants or accounting experience, including 1 year of supervision of staff personnel

Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Mainly in an office environment where the noise level is usually quiet
- May be required to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to respond to emergencies or to meet operational needs
- May include sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods
- Performing repetitive motion
