Manager, Business Sales

As a Manager, Business Sales at Spectrum, you will manage daily operations, mentor account executives, and inspire your team to surpass budgeted sales goals. Responsibilities

• Coach, lead, and motivate a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales and performance targets
• Spend 80% of your time in the field supporting your team and 20% handling office responsibilities and administrative tasks
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive team territory plan while setting and monitoring individual sales goals using Spectrum’s systems and tools
• Resolve customer complaints and address issues impacting sales operations to maintain efficiency
• Organize regular meetings to keep the team informed of tools, process, and product updates
• Recruit, train, and coach Account Executives, handling employee relations, performance reviews, and ensuring training compliance
• Oversee daily funnel activity for individual sales representatives, including contacts, presentations, and sales
• Ensure accurate completion of administrative tasks and reporting for all sales activities
• Maintain detailed knowledge of Spectrum’s product offerings, marketplace trends, and competitive landscape, while building positive relationships with customers and partners

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of telecommunications product and services sales experience
• 5+ years of business-to-business sales management experience
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
• Experience organizing, implementing, and maintaining sales goals
• Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with a focus on telephone and Internet fundamentals
• Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record

Pay

The base pay for this position generally is between $69,000.00 and $113,800.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses. In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $73,000.
