About the role

The Business Performance Manager will lead the build and deployment of automated reporting, tools, and insights that support field teams and leadership across our seven iconic brands (McAlister’s Deli, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Schlotzsky’s, Jamba, Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, Carvel).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Excel-based tools, Power Apps, Power BI dashboards, and automation that simplify how data is used to diagnose performance and drive action.
  • Transform existing data into clear, actionable solutions, reducing manual work, improving visibility, and enabling consistent execution across the business.
  • Translate insights into impact by partnering with field-based teams to define, prioritize, and project manage action plans focused on improving targeted metrics.
  • Build and optimize reporting processes using a mix of Power BI, Excel, and automation, ensuring seamless data refresh and distribution across the organization.
  • Develop visualizations and self-service reporting tools in Power BI and Excel that empower stakeholders with real-time insights.
  • Monitor and continuously improve reporting tools and automation (Power BI, Excel, Power Automate) to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Partner with Enterprise and brand operations teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored automated solutions.
  • Maintain open communication to share best practices in automation and data visualization.
  • Ensure all initiatives align with organizational strategy and support a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Deep proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), Power Query, and advanced Excel (formulas, data modeling, and tool development).
  • Experience building and maintaining reporting tools in Power BI and Excel.
  • Experience using Power Apps and Power Automate to streamline workflows and data collection.
  • Strong experience with Power Query across Excel and/or Power BI.
  • Ability to work with existing enterprise datasets and partner with IT or data teams where needed.
  • Experience in the food industry is preferred.
