Major Responsibilities
- Develop relationships that generate sales opportunities to achieve business goals
- Ensures that the company is presented with optimum business opportunities to achieve targeted business growth objectives
- Proactively develops and implements annual marketing plan for the office and market sectors of responsibility to support the overall revenue goal
- Attends sales meetings with senior leadership to communicate status on sales prospects and activity while supporting business plan
- Attends business development meetings for coordination and communication of lead generation, and collaborates with business development staff from other subsidiaries as appropriate
- Captures and tracks client and market input into customer tracking database

- Works closely with Pepper marketing team and group leaders during preparation of qualifications, proposals and presentations, providing key client insight and strategy and ensuring a high quality, complete product
- Works closely with the Pepper communications team regarding client activities and client exit interviews tailoring to the local market
- Maintains customer satisfaction with company services and personnel
Position Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and abilities to collaborate cross-functionally are required
- Selected candidate must have passion for Madison area with knowledge of commercial construction trends
- Bachelor’s degree with AEC or Business emphasis preferred
- 10 years of experience in the commercial construction industry or 7 years of experience in business development or comparable role
