Responsibilities

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with UNITED policies and applicable laws: interview, hire, and train associates; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; address complaints and resolve problems; build positive associate morale.
  • Manage portfolio lifecycle, including creation and communication of Brand/Category Plans.
  • Strategic planning for brands and packages.
  • Work closely with Price Revenue Growth Manager to provide pricing direction.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to manage inventory.
  • Gather information on Parent Company funding and present recommendations on best use of funds to support brand and retail plans.
  • Submit for all Parent Company funding and ensure proper accounting and receipt with Corp/Region/Division accounting personnel.
  • Work with Sales organization to develop merchandising standards.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain on forecasting and launch timing.
  • Update key UNITED stakeholders on introduction performance, identify availability targets, and speed to market.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license required; obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies.
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets.
  • Ability to utilize all Company-provided resources and technology.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to coach and manage needs and concerns of multiple associates.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or 5+ years of related experience and/or training in field marketing or category commercialization; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and commissions.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel).
  • Ability to quickly learn internal UNITED systems.
  • Experience in field marketing or category commercialization.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Understanding of bottler economics.
  • Project management supported by strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Good initiative and interpersonal skills.
