Manager - Banking (Management Consulting)
About the role
As a Manager, your role will be diverse and fulfilling, utilising your:
- Understanding of process design and improvement and management.
- Understanding of core business processes and products in the banking industry.
- Experience in leading a team through an entire project life cycle.
- Knowledge and experience of Wealth Management/ Private Banking client segments, products and propositions, channels and front to back operating models.
- Abilities to apply technology principles to business.
Responsibilities
You will contribute to the firm's growth initiatives by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, digital innovations, and best practices in the banking industry, and by sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues and clients.
Requirements
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree, and holding an advanced degree and/or additional qualification is a bonus.
- You will bring at least eight years of Financial Services Consulting experience, enabling you to lead complex initiatives and contribute effectively to our team and projects.
- You have strong experience with Business, Operating, and Functional Models, especially in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and management.
- Holding a background in data management would further support your ability to optimise these frameworks and drive process improvement.
- You will have strong experience in project delivery and program management, in large multi-year, cross-functional programs.
- You will have hands-on experience in one or more projects in a topic among those mentioned above.
- You will have a great track record of successful people management for both onshore and offshore teams.
- You will be highly analytical and structured in problem-solving; able to quickly understand complex situations.
- You will possess excellent presentation and communication skills and have an ability to quickly build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- You will have at heart an entrepreneurial spirit and team leadership skills.
- You are willing to travel as the job requires.
