About The Role
This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within target markets, leveraging SS&C's comprehensive suite of fund administration services solutions. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the financial services industry, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and the ability to cultivate client relationships.
SS&C combines proprietary technology with deep industry expertise to support complex financial and healthcare operations. Teams design, implement, and operate solutions that help clients manage data, automate processes, and scale their businesses with confidence. You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Create and explore new business opportunities targeted at Asset Management prospects
- Develop client opportunities and build relationships
- Create RFPs
- Partner with subject matter experts to determine technical solutions and present sound business conclusions from gathered information
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and their potential impact on SS&C
- Attend and network at related industry events
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B financial services sales experience (preferably in asset management, hedge fund, or capital markets)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related major
- Understanding of Fund Administration Services, Transfer Agency, and middle office services
- Demonstrable communication, relationship, and team skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully accomplish responsibilities in a high-pressure, high-workload environment; effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with little supervision
- High level of comfort preparing and leading client presentations
- Ability to identify and overcome potential objections raised by prospective clients
- Expertise with Microsoft Office applications—specifically MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (advanced graphic design skills are a plus)

Pay
The expected base salary for this position in Massachusetts is between $90,000 USD and $140,000 USD, varying based on relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
