Manager, AI Risk Management

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, AI Risk Management to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape how the organization evaluates, governs, and operationalizes AI-related risk across the enterprise. You will partner closely with compliance, governance, technology, and business stakeholders to strengthen controls and support responsible AI adoption. The position will focus on building scalable risk management workflows, advancing governance practices, and improving decision-making through clear metrics and reporting. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $116,000 – $216,000 annually Responsibilities Lead comprehensive AI risk assessments and evaluations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate AI risks Maintain and report on governance records and risk decisions Own and enhance AI risk management workflows within GRC platforms Implement recognized AI risk management frameworks across the enterprise Guide the design of AI-enabled governance and automation capabilities Advance the AI governance strategy and develop metrics for continuous improvement Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or governance roles Strong understanding of AI technologies and their associated risks Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and initiatives Experience with enterprise governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Benefits Flexible work options for remote and in-office arrangements Comprehensive health and wellness programs Professional development and training opportunities Retirement savings plans with company matching Employee assistance programs and support services Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
