Management Intern - Marketing
About the role
Career Services seeks a motivated and highly creative management intern to join our team. This candidate will collaborate to develop and implement the communication strategies, programs, content, and materials for a variety of projects that effectively market and disseminate information on behalf of Career Services.
Responsibilities
- Serves in an intern capacity for a specified division or program, which may include the following duties and responsibilities:
- Performs tasks related to creating marketing assets for Career Services
- Crafts and proofreads copy in adherence to Brand Standard guidelines
- A assemblies info needed for work requests to be passed on to design team
- Manages workflow for peer workers (2 designers/ 1 copy writer)
- Assists Social Media team as needed
- Analyzes procedures and makes recommendations for improvement
- Maintains project trackers and calendars
- Ideate, interview and write articles for ASU Family
Requirements
- Graduate Student in a closely related field of study
- Knowledge of marketing principles and practices
- Knowledge of ASU brand standard and AP writing style
- Knowledge of basic project management
- Experience in organizing resources and establishing priorities
- Experience in planning, organization, coordination of activities
- Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Experience in the use of personal computer and related software applications
Qualifications
- High School Diploma and two-years (2) experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Skills
- Knowledge of marketing principles and practices
- Knowledge of ASU brand standard and AP writing style
- Knowledge of basic project management
- Experience in organizing resources and establishing priorities
- Experience in planning, organization, coordination of activities

Benefits
Salary: $20.75 per hour

Schedule
This is a 20 hour per week position, and may include some nights and weekends, with flexible days and hours based on programming needs.
