Management Development Program - Food & Beverage
About the role
Auberge Collection is a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, safaris, residences, and private clubs. While each property is unique, all share a crafted approach to luxury and bring the soul of the locale to life through captivating design, exceptional cuisine, innovative wellbeing, and gracious yet unobtrusive service. With 39 one-of-a-kind hotels, resorts, safaris, and residences, Auberge invites guests to create unforgettable stories in some of the world’s most desirable destinations. The Management Development Program (MDP) is a 12‑month on‑property paid training and development program consisting of 80% work experience and 20% professional development. The program is divided into two phases: Phase 1 – Mastering Service & Department Knowledge and Phase 2 – Management Essentials, Leadership & Soft Skills Development. Auberge offers dedicated paths in Food & Beverage, Culinary, and Rooms; candidates select their focus area and preferred property location during recruitment. Upon successful completion, participants are placed into a management role (based on availability and willingness to relocate). Offer letters are issued within 2‑4 weeks of completing the interview process.
Responsibilities
Participants spend 80% of their time gaining hands‑on work experience across departments and 20% engaging in professional development activities. The program follows two structured phases: mastering service and department knowledge, then developing management essentials, leadership, and soft skills. Candidates choose a focus area (Food & Beverage, Culinary, or Rooms) and a property location, and after completing all components they are positioned for a management role.
