Duties
In this position, you will serve as a senior analyst and advisor in USBP's Mission Readiness Operations Directorate, leading complex qualitative and quantitative assessments of programs and management processes and directing major administrative initiatives. This work strengthens USBP & CBP mission readiness by improving operational efficiency, resource planning, and policy alignment, ensuring leadership has accurate, timely analysis to execute DHS priorities.
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be responsible for directing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing a major segment of Mission Readiness Operations Directorate's administrative program. Typical duties will include:
- Developing and evaluating policies and program objectives as well as advising managers and providing technical assistance to headquarters and field offices.
- Coordinating and leading team studies; designing, implementing, and monitoring management information and planning control systems; assessing legislative impacts and negotiating adoption of recommendations.

Qualifications
You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:

- Designing, implementing, and overseeing planning and control systems and management information systems that support long- and short-range plans, budget formulation, and resource allocation;

Pay
This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10).
