About the Role
This position is within the Human Capital & Resource Management Career Field and involves managing the DPW tasker system, providing reports, and ensuring data completeness for higher-level submissions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the DPW tasker system using computer software to track the status of all assignments.
- Provide daily and weekly reports of tasks that are currently due, late, and overdue.
- Create new taskers as requested by the DPW/Deputy Director, BOID Division, or BIB Branch Chiefs.
- Collect, review, and analyze all data received by divisions to ensure completeness before submission to higher levels.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
- Must complete a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 450) upon entry and annually thereafter.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- This position requires a 1-year probationary period.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.

To qualify, you must meet the education and/or specialized experience requirements:
- Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:
- Utilizing electronic financial systems to prepare budget tracking reports that assist management in decision-making.
- Coordinating support agreements such as Inter-Service Support Agreements (ISSA), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) by evaluating customer requests against established regulations.
- Tracking mandatory training reports to ensure compliance with organizational deadlines.
- Compiling financial reports to assist leadership in evaluating facility maintenance and resource allocation.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
- Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration). Transcripts are required.
- Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify if the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
Foreign Education: If using education completed in foreign colleges or universities, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and deemed equivalent to a U.S. accredited program.
