Management Analyst, Jr.
StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full-Time FMS Analyst/Management Analyst/Operations Analyst, Junior to support a major weapons program office.
About the role
The FMS Analyst/Management Analyst/Operations Analyst serves as the office operations coordinator and principal Defense Travel System (DTS) point of contact, ensuring the efficient execution of administrative and travel-related functions. Manages office operations by applying knowledge of administrative policies, procedures, and organizational practices to develop, maintain, and process correspondence, records, reports, directives, and other official documentation. Oversees DTS travel authorizations, vouchers, and local travel processes, providing guidance to personnel on travel policies and resolving travel-related issues. Coordinates with internal and external offices to obtain required information for reports, special projects, audits, and inquiries. Interprets and adapts established guidelines, policies, and procedures to support office operations, improve administrative processes, and ensure compliance with organizational and Department of Defense requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supports the efforts and actions of the Case Manager/Program Managers/Team Lead for FMS programs.
- Assists the Case Manager in analyzing and managing all aspects of FMS casework in accordance with the Arms Export Control Act, the SAMM, the ITAR, and applicable DoD Acquisition policy guidance, under direction of the Case Manager/Program Manager/Team Lead.
- Receives, opens as necessary, and reviews incoming mail; determines proper routing, reroutes as needed, sorts into action or non-action categories, and files as necessary.
- Routes telephone calls and mail by specific name request or by specific functional area.
- Replies to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources such as reports, documents, correspondence, and other offices.
- Maintains, transfers, retires, or purges file systems as required.
- Prepares and submits travel request documents in accordance with local, joint, and federal travel regulations.
- Reviews travel claims for regulatory compliance, prepares and submits claims for government official approval.
- Updates and maintains various tasker and tracking databases.
- Updates and maintains calendars and schedules.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a customer and business-oriented position.
- Knowledge of the Defense Travel System (DTS) required.
- Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office software, demonstrated verbal and written skills, brief preparation.
- Customer service focus.
- Knowledge of the Navy Correspondence manual preferred.
- Knowledge of Navy Program Office Management operations preferred.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of DOD SAP policies and procedures relating to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) desired.
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree.
- Allowable substitution: Associates Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience beyond the required experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree.
- Allowable substitution: Four (4) years additional work experience beyond the required experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree.
Security Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Pay
The estimated base salary range for this position is $55,000.00 - $74,000.00. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's level of knowledge, education, experience, and skill sets.
