Essential Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, policy, programmatic, and technical expertise to enable the Strategy, Plans, and Policy (SPP) Branch to support the HQDA Protection Division.
- Integrate protection concepts into Army strategic documents, analyze protection efforts, and ensure effective information sharing across the enterprise.
- Draft, edit, and staff written documents for integrating the APP and protection-related functions and concepts into Army strategic documents such as the ACP and other components of The Army Plan (TAP).
- Analyze and report on the current fiscal year APPA results, focusing on benchmark deficiencies, reoccurring deficiencies, and best practices.
- Create and manage the annual Army Protection Program Assessments (APPA) trend report, utilizing data from the current fiscal year and two previous fiscal years.
- Ensure compliance with DA written correspondence standards (AR 25-50 and DA MEMO 25-52) to produce high-quality documentation for the Army Protection Program Board of Directors (APPBOD).
- Support the preparation and management of guidance/tasking/data calls for the APPBOD, tracking inputs and responses from various ARSTAF sections.
- Prepare and manage the administrative framework for the APP management process, including logistics, agendas, minutes, and other necessary documentation.
- Coordinate quarterly APPBOD meetings and other meetings supporting APPBOD objectives, providing timely and accurate document control.
- Develop written recommendations for Army decision makers or enterprise-level management/resource bodies, aligning HQDA Army Protection Division programs with Federal, DoD, State, and Local levels.
- Conduct research and provide written recommendations in support of Army Protection-connected tasking across the Army, addressing potential resultant tasks and products.
- Interface with key contacts and sources to coordinate relevant information regarding assets, ensuring timely and accurate responses to tasking, routing, tracking, and updates.
- Support the coordination of information sharing with other Army/DoD enterprise management boards, including the Army Services and Infrastructure Core Enterprise (SICE), Defense Force Protection Working Group (FPWG), Defense Energy Grid Security Executive Council (EGSEC), Mission Assurance Senior Steering Group (MASSG), Energy Resilience Working Group (ERWG), the Army Senior Energy Council (SEC), and other relevant forums.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of related experience.
- Operational experience using standard automated toolsets to monitor database performance and maintain database operation.
- Experience with Army Policy related to protection functions.
- Prior military experience, especially with C-IED.
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Active US Passport and ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
- Less than 10% travel expected for this position.

Compensation Details
$140-150k
