Key Responsibilities
- Contributes and actively participates in defining the category business plan and strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Collaborates with various internal teams from marketing, sales, and finance to ensure seamless execution of category plans.
- Maintains and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Demonstrates a broad understanding of product categories, business management, and sales challenges/strategies.
- Serves as a go-to resource for Managed Services to the HP Sales audience.
- Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.
- Works with the sales teams to identify opportunities.
- Datamining for customer opportunities, naked deals, customer targets.
- Develops, manages, and executes Managed Services Programs, Incentives, and Offers.
- Drives education and training with HP Sales audience on Managed Services.
- Supports Channel Support Efforts.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically, 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in category management, P&L management, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
- Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills to enable effective communication internally and externally.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills – both F2F and virtual.
- Ability to simplify a complex message to drive knowledge retention and application in a sales role.
- Problem-solving ability is developed with ability to lead and inspire teams under pressure situations, exercising independent judgment.
- Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.
- Able to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines.
- Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
- May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
Pay and Benefits
The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $133,950 to $210,300 USD annually with a 80%/20% (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonuses and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
