Managed Cloud Services Senior Offering Manager, Hyperscaler
About the role
SAS Managed Cloud Services (MCS) provides hosting services for SAS products in a private cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP) with dedicated expert service and support. Customers choose MCS for proven expertise, exceptional performance, platform flexibility, 24x7x365 support and cost effectiveness. Today MCS is one of the fastest growing areas at SAS.
As the MCS Offering Manager for Hyperscalers, you will be responsible for managing the public cloud foundation for all SAS’ managed cloud offerings. Unlike a traditional Product Manager focused on software features, the MCS Offering Manager owns the end-to-end service lifecycle of SAS’ managed cloud solutions, including service design, packaging, pricing, operational readiness, compliance, customer experience, and ongoing service improvement.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, cloud operations, product development, and customer success, ensuring SAS’ managed cloud offerings are innovative, scalable, secure, and aligned with both customer needs and business goals. The Offering Manager partners cross-functionally with Product Strategy, R&D, Cloud Architecture, Cloud Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and regional delivery teams to ensure offerings meet market demand and deliver measurable business value.
The Offering Manager is instrumental in driving transformation through the Viya platform, industry solutions and related third-party technologies, while enabling global consistency through communities of practice, standardized delivery playbooks, and continual service optimization. This is a highly strategic role requiring a balance of market insight, technical understanding, service design expertise, and business acumen.
