About the role
Finding a Mammography Technologist at Wilcox Medical Center means joining a team dedicated to providing high-quality health care to the Kaua‘i community. This position plays a crucial role in the Imaging Services department, supporting the hospital's mission to empower women to take charge of their health.
Responsibilities
- Performing screening and diagnostic mammographic procedures for evaluation by a physician.
- Ensuring all procedures are performed according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Communicating effectively with patients to ensure they understand the process and are comfortable during the procedure.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all mammograms and patient information.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Current Hawai‘i Radiologic Technologist license.
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
- Registered Mammography Technologist (RT)(M) with the ARRT (must obtain within one (1) year of hire).
- One (1) year Radiologic Technologist experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in mammography and radiologic technology.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Pay
The starting pay range for this position is $51.65 - $54.37 USD per hour.
Schedule
This position is part-time, working 8 hours per day.
