Training & Development

• Train with a preceptor at our Louetta and Tomball centers
• Assist with coverage at our Houston area centers post registry

Requirements

• Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program
• Hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography
• Interest in training in mammography as an advanced modality
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Train with a preceptor to consistently practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique
• Learn to prepare for and assist the Radiologist in the completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies
• Learn to produce high-quality films for the radiologist to evaluate
• Develop the ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health
• Maintain patient-first focus and exhibit outstanding customer service skills
